Missing pensioner found safe
An elderly man who went missing from his home has been found safe and well.
Derek William Gordon, 78, left his home in Lowton on Friday January 6 and Greater Manchester Police (GMP) appealed for information as they were becoming concerned for his welfare.
The police confirmed he had been found on Sunday morning and thanked everyone who had helped in the search or publicised the appeal.
