Man fighting for life after stabbing
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed in both legs during an horrific attack.
Police found the wounded man after being called to an address on Tanfields, Skelmersdale, shortly before 6am today (Tuesday).
The man was taken to Aintree Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
A 37-year-old man from Skelmersdale has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and is in custody.
Police enquiries are ongoing.
