A 65-year-old Wigan man who has admitted to benefit fraud will be sentenced by a Bolton judge on September 30, town justices have ruled.

Ian Cronin, 65, of Wensley Road, Lowton, has already pleaded guilty to twice failing to notify the DWP of a change of circumstances affecting his Carer’s Allowance.

He also admitted not disclosing earnings to Wigan Council other than benefits.
