MOTORISTS will be slowed down by temporary traffic lights in some parts of Wigan.
Improvement works will commence today at the junction of Scot Lane, Woodhouse Drive and Beech Hill Avenue, which will cause lane closures for two weeks.
Carriageway patching works are also expected to commence on Scot Lane between Hunter Road and Marsh Green today.
Temporary traffic signals may be in operation in various locations during off peak periods for one week.
And Electricity North West is undertaking urgent repairs at Worsley Mesnes Drive, with temporary traffic signals in operation.
