Drugs stolen from hospital

POLICE in Wigan are investigating the theft of a number of controlled drugs from Wigan Infirmary.

The incident happened between 11.30pm on Thursday, March 8 and 1.30am on Friday, March 9 when drugs including morphine, ketamine, pethadine, diamorphine, fentanyl and midazolam were stolen.

The offender is described as being a white man who was bald, about 5ft 9in to 5ft 10in tall, of medium build and about 40 years old. He was wearing a large green outdoor jacket and what appeared to be blue surgical overalls underneath. He walked with a limp.
