UP Holland High School is celebrating a successful year with end-of-term concerts and exhibitions of pupils’ work for the community to enjoy.

It is now the 38th year that the Festival of Music (formally known as The Proms) will take place on Wednesday and Thursday July 1 and 2 from 6.30pm to 9pm.

The Festival of Music is a series of concerts featuring young musical talent from primary schools, colleges and Up Holland High School.

The concerts have been commended for their professionalism, high standards and good fun! This year the theme is “Music through the Decades” and covers classics from Bach to Bon Jovi. Tickets are in high demand and are available from Up Holland reception for £4 or £2 concessionary.

For those wishing to make it a truly cultural evening, the art department are offering a private view of weird, wonderful and just plain brilliant art and design and graphics GCSE work.

The work is on display in the exhibition studio from 5pm to 7pm each day.
