Pupils get ready for the big day

Staff and little ones at the school have already been enjoying festive celebrations for the past week and is a welcome reward for their labours since the start of term.

And headteacher Jill Hankinson couldn’t be more proud of the school.

She said: “At St Paul’s we are passionate about learning and growing in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment. Our Christian ethos encompasses all aspects of school life shown in our mission statement.

“We provide the children with lots of opportunities for first hand experiences to enhance their learning, and strive towards all children making progress according to their abilities.

“Above all, we believe learning should be fun and if you visit our school that will be evident by the smiles you will see on the children’s faces.

“Our motto is ‘Working Together, Playing Together’ and this is something staff, children, parents and governors believe in resulting in a happy school where children can reach their full potential.”
