A WIGAN school has proven its creative flair by picking up a prestigious art award.
Rose Bridge High School, in Ince, has won the Education Business Award for Arts and Crafts at the Emirates Stadium in London.
The school’s Creative Partnerships Photography Display was showcased at the Grand Arcade earlier this year.
With the help from leading Manchester based photographer Jan Chlebik, year eight pupils uncovered a wealth of multicultural influences in Wigan and recorded it with a phenomenal display of stylish photography.
John Sanson, Grand Arcade’s Centre Manager, said: “Grand Arcade has worked with Rose Bridge and this has continued over the last four years. It’s good to see the staff and the pupils’ hard work recognised at a school that has outstanding fashion, art and photography credentials.”
