A WIGAN school has linked up with a national driving organisation for special class time.
BSM is celebrating 100 years of teaching people to drive and this week it has been at St John Fisher High School in Beech Hill.
Debbie Lewis, Area Manager, BSM and three of her Wigan Instructors brought three Fiat 500 cars and put Year 11 pupils through their paces behind the wheel in the school yard.
Throughout the morning, pupils were made aware of the dangers of driving and what affects the concentration levels of drivers.
Science teacher Claire Leverett said: “All the students had a fantastic time in the cars but also understood the serious message behind driving and the dangers of being on the road.”
