TALENTED St John Rigby College students have been re-telling the story of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The BTEC teens illustrated the entire narrative through movement and characterisation.

Performer Daniel Pye said: “We wanted to bring to life the scary atmosphere of Shakespeare’s play, but to drive the narrative purely through the use of movement.” The performers each honed acting and dance skills.

The production, inspired by the work of practitioners like Matthew Bourne and Frantic Assembly, was a cross-curricular project between the dance and music technology students.
