PUPILS created their own future as part of an art project with other schools in the borough.
Children from Newfold Primary in Orrell joined youngsters from St Aidan’s Catholic Primary School and Hope Special School to work with artist Anne Marie Quinn and assembled an art installation at Trencherfield Mill based on their aspirations for the future.
Year Five teacher Cath Wainwright said: “Our pupils made pictures of the future, looking at what they thought their life would be like. They drew portraits of themselves and their aspirations.
“It was a great opportunity for the children to work with a professional artist. They really enjoyed all the aspects of art she taught them.”
