Youngsters get sporty at Up Holland fun day

SPORTY youngsters from primary schools got the chance to see what sport will be like if they attend Up Holland High School in the future.

Pupils from Crawford Village Primary and Newfold Community Primary attended the secondary school for a ‘transition festival’ aimed at helping future pupils get used to lessons at a new school.

School sport co-ordinator Rod Hart said: “The primary pupils that came today may not enjoy or take part in regular physical activity.

“But we really want to give the pupils an opportunity to be part of the Up Holland High School community through this and the various other festivals we provide.

“In early January we had a primary water polo festival that was a huge success and nine schools took part.”
