Empty Wigan building targeted again by arsonists
An abandoned Wigan mill plagued by vandals has once again been targeted in an arson attack.
Firefighters were called to Pagefield Mill on Friday night after a group of teens set two blazes inside.
Just after 9pm Wigan crews were called to the building, where a fire had been lit at the bottom of the lift shaft and on the fourth floor.
As the team arrived they saw the perpetrators leaving the building.
This is just one of an endless stream of attacks wasting already strained resources.
