TWO young Wigan men have denied falsely imprisoning a 14-year-old boy.
Robert McHugh and Lee Cummins between them also denied assault charges involving the boy and two of his companions.
McHugh, 23, of Cherry Tree Road, Lowton, and Cummins, 21, of Edge Green Lane, Golborne, were both further remanded on bail by Liverpool Crown Court to await their trial beginning on July 16.
They both pleaded not guilty to falsely imprisoning the boy on October 9 in Lowton last year and McHugh denied assaulting him and one of his friends by beating on the same day.
Cummins denied assaulting a third boy on the same occasion.
The victims cannot be named for legal reasons.
