Parishioners in festive fun

There's free Festive Family Fun at Whitley Methodist Church off Spencer Road on Saturday, December 5, from 11am to 3pm.

The church parishioners say that they are seeking to share the Joy of Christmas with the local community by inviting them to a family day out.

Admission will be free, as will the games and one go on the tombola.

Visitors will be asked to make a donation towards the cost of their lunch and extra crisps and drinks can be bought.

There will also be stalls selling homemade cakes, plus archery, side shows, plants and charity Christmas cards, the Rock Bus and Santa.
