Fielden strips for charity calendar
Warriors prop Stuart Fielden will be baring all in a 2010 calendar – all in the name of charity!
Along with a host of other Super League stars, including Warrington's Adrian Morley and Leeds captain Keith Senior, Fielden hopes to raise money for the Steve Prescott foundation.
He said: "When I was asked, I was happy to take part.
"Lee Radford and I had a charity boxing match a couple of years ago, so that's why we're wearing gloves. It's all for a massive cause."
The calendar is Prescott's latest money-raising scheme. The former Saints star was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2006 and has since been the head of many fund raising activies.
His foundation splits its funds between the Christies Hospital Manchester and the Try Assist fund – formerly known as the RFL Benevolent fund.
Prescott posed for the calendar himself with his modesty only protected by the Super League trophy.
"It was pretty cold in the boxing gym but luckily, I had some big gloves!" added Fielden.
"I've done a few things like this before, we recently did one for Help the Heroes and I've done similar things while I was at Bradford. It's all good fun and more importantly, it's for a good cause."
