Firefighters attend blaze in kitchen
Firefighters were called when a blaze broke out in a kitchen.
Crews from Wigan, Hindley and Atherton stations went to the end-terrace house on Castle Hill Road, Hindley, at 5.40pm on Tuesday.
Wearing breathing apparatus, they used a hose reel to bring the fire under control.
The firefighters spent an hour dealing with the incident.
