In spirit for ghost hunt

Brave thrill-seekers are invited to take part in an overnight paranormal investigation at Haigh Hall on February 15.

The night will include a ghost and history tour of the hall, detailing real-life tales and historical information, and a workshop with resident medium Denise Griggs.

Ghost hunters will explore the history of the hall and may catch a glimpse of a white lady roaming the grounds, or a grey lady in Mabs Gallery.

Tricia Danson, events manager, said: "Guests will have the chance to use some of the most common paranormal equipment, such as digital recording equipment, to see if we can capture electronic voice phenomena or ghostly sounds, and have the chance to be involved in sances with our fully-trained team.

"The event is certainly not for the faint-hearted and promises to be an evening you will never forget."

The event will run from 9pm- 5am and tickets are 55 per person.
