Lanes reopened at M6 Wigan junction following car fire
The M6 motorway has fully reopened following a car fire which closed the southbound carriage.
The incident occurred just before 11am this morning (Sunday) between J27 and J26 near Orrell.
Emergency services were called to the scene to stop traffic and tackle the blaze.
There were delays of up to an hour in the area.
All lanes are now reopen.
