Wigan Athletic’s low gates

The local and national media have made much recently about the low gates at Wigan Athletic home matches.

The main reasons for this are we need a manager who wants to play football the right way. Ticket office policy, you can’t call in at the ticket office and purchase match day tickets when you ask how you got about getting said tickets they try selling you a season ticket.

Wigan Athletic have to know there is a brickwall between themselves and local grassroots teams as there is a them and us feeling in this town.

Local teams need local support and in the main they will come from the grassroots of this town.

T Duncan,

Pemberton Road,

Winstanley.
