A WIGAN bank manager has been accused of fleecing his employers out of more than £430,000.

Paul Buck appeared before justices charged with 14 offences of theft and 10 of false accounting.

The allegations relate to the disappearance of £434,210 from Santander Bank.

The 35-year-old, from Langham Road, Standish, was bailed by Preston magistrates, pending a further appearance at the same court on March 27, where his case will be committed to crown court.

The charges follow Buck’s arrest on December 9 last year, when he was employed as a manager at the Santander Bank, in Fishergate, Preston.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between 2006 and 2011.
