Frank Wilson

WIGAN Casino lovers are today mourning the loss of one of its most famous voices following the death of Motown legend Frank Wilson.

The 71-year-old passed away yesterday after reportedly suffering from Prostate Cancer.

Wilson’s voice goes down in Casino history thanks to one song in particular, “Do I love you (Indeed I do)”.

In 2009, one of only two vinyl versions of the 1965 record fetched £25,000 at auction, making it the most expensive record ever at the time.

Wilson wrote and produced hit records for the likes of The Temptations, Smoky Robinson, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes and Brenda Holloway.

He left Motown in 1976 to become a born again Christian and produced gospel music.
