Lorry in smash

A DRIVER escaped with a suspected broken nose as his lorry overturned.

The lorry, which was carrying cars which were heading for the scrpayard, lost control and flipped over in Railway Road, Skelmersdale, at the junction of Winstanley Road, at 2.30pm on Tuesday.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

The male driver was not seriously injured in the incident.

However, he was taken to hospital with a suspected broken nose.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
