Wigan man on gun and arson charges

A WIGAN man is among 11 people charged in connection with a series of gun crime and arson incidents in St Helens last year.

Christopher Lunt, 26, of Sandy Lane, Hindley, is accused of conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug, conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life or enable an other to do so and conspiracy to commit arson.

Eugene Price, 31, of Sherdley Road, St Helens, David John Doolan, 27 of Gray Street, Bootle, and Alan Doolan, 22, of Gray Street, Bootle, have all been charged with the same offences. All four were bailed to answer the charges before St Helens Magistrates’ Court on March 15.

Christopher Michael Kendal, 28, of Boardmans Lane, St Helens, Norman Worrall, 57, of Chester Avenue, Bootle, Deborah Jane Bullard, 43, of Cleveland Street, St Helens, Mark Jervis, 32, of Surrey Street, St Helens, and Stephen Finney, 20, of Lambourne Grove, St Helens, are all charged with conspiracy to supply a class A drug. A 15-year-old boy from the Parr area of St Helens is also accused of conspiring to supply a class A drug.

Kendal, Worrall, Bullard, Jervis, Finney and the 15-year-old are also set to appear before St Helens justices on March 15.
