Wigan man spots UFO
A Wigan dad claims to have seen a UFO last night (Sunday).
The man, 35, who lives near Elnup Woods, Shevington, told wigantoday.net: "It was around 11.30pm last night and I had just popped outside to check the shed and bring a few toys inside when this thing flew past overhead really, really fast.
"It was just a white light - like a plane - but about 50 times faster. It was in my vision then out of it in literally one second, covering probably a couple of miles in distance in that time.
"I always keep my eyes to the skies but have never seen anything like that before.
"I half thought it was a shooting star at first but then I realised it was too low. I don't know what it was."
