A WIGAN drug dealer who was part of a gang planning to flood the streets with class A drugs has been jailed for 10 years.
Peter Harvey, of Jennings Park Avenue, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply both class A and B drugs at a court hearing today (Thursday).
The 45-year-old was observed by officers in possession of holdalls that were later found to contain amphetamine valued at £360,000 and 30kgs of ecstasy tablets.
When officers searched the houses of Harvey’s associates, more illegal substances were found along with a machine press and mixing agents. More drugs were also found after Harvey’s house was searched.
Paul Kelly,of Northgate Road, Manchester and Jason Burke, of no fixed abode, both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply B drugs. Kelly was sentenced to three years imprisonment, Burke received 40 months.
Don Kinsey, of Highfield Close, Stretford, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply and was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
