Osman called up by England

WIGAN-born Leon Osman has been named in the 23-man England squad for next week’s game with Sweden in Stockholm next Wednesday.

The Everton midfielder is the only new face after a sparkling start to the season, and he lines up alongside club-mate and ex-Latics defender Leighton Baines.

There is also a recall for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere for the first time since June 2011.
