Jane Chambers, Headteacher of Orrell Lamberhead Green Commmunity Primary School, said: “Alison worked at the school for over 20 years since being an NQT.

“Orrell Lamberhead Green is an outstanding school and Alison made a significant contribution to the school’s success.

“She was a very talented and dedicated teacher who was held in respect by all her colleagues and the children. She always acted with great integrity and did her best for all children.

“She was a very talented artist and had worked with lots of groups of children to produce pieces of art that are on display in the school today. As a PPA teacher she worked across the school so all the children will miss her ready smile and the care that she showed them every day she was in school.”
