Adelle Ruddy (31): Thirlmere Avenue, Ince. Being the parent of a child at school, failed to ensure they regularly attended: Fined £160, pay costs of £150.

Stephen Anthony Wilding (45): Derby Road, Golborne. Assaulted Claire Wilding and Bethany Aspinall by beating them: Carry out unpaid work for 200 hours within the next 12 months, pay compensation of £150, pay surcharge to fund victim services of £85, pay costs to Crown Prosecution Service of £85.

Shane Joseph Maloney (23): Levens Place, Higher Ince. Assaulted Sonya Conway on three separate occasions by beating her: Carry out 120 hours unpaid work within the next twelve months, pay compensation of £200, pay a surcharge to victim services of £85, pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.

Irene Farrimond (65): Randall Avenue, Shevington. Assaulted Louise Farrimond by beating her: restraining order meaning the defendant must not contact directly or indirectly Louise Farrimond or enter Avondale Road, fined £120, pay compensation of £50, pay surcharge to fund victim services of £30, pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.

Thea Anne Collard (35): Ormskirk Road, Pemberton. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend her unpaid work placement, assaulted Demetris Constantinon by beating him: 12-week curfew with electronic monitoring.

James Woods (54): Pavilion Gardens, Westhoughton. Without reasonable excuse sent a text message to Sharon Wood’s son asking Sharon Wood to contact him which he was prohibited from doing it by a restraining order: Fined £333, pay surcharge to fund victim services of £33, pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.

Kenneth William Hawkes (54): Legh Street, Golborne. Assaulted Carol Hawkes by beating her: Discharged conditionally for 12 months, pay surcharge to fund victim services of £20, pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £150.

Connor Sheridan (19): Calder Place, Wigan. Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a community order by failing to attend his compulsory unpaid work placement, committed fraud in that he dishonestly made a false representation, namely withdrew cash and made electronic purchases using his uncle’s bank card, intending to make a gain, namely cash, for himself: Jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months, have treatment for drug dependency as a non-resident patient for three months, carry out unpaid work for 80 hours within the next twelve months.
