LITTLE Amelia Morris’s home may already boast a stunning display of festive lights.
But what is possibly the poorly tot’s last Christmas became even more illuminating in the headlights of countless gigantic lorries.
Around 50 trucks, decorated with LED lights, organised by Logos 4 U, drove up from Lymm Services to the DW Stadium, to meet Amelia and her family.
The Beech Hill three-year-old has the rare Tay-Sachs Disease and doctors say she may only live a few months. A highlight of her birthday last week was the big lights switch-on at home in Acacia Crescent. And the Morrises decamped to the DW at the weekend for more fun.
As well as the lorries there were children’s characters and gifts, and money raised will be split between Amelia’s fund and Friends: an autism support group in St Helens.
