A THIRD man has admitted running a major cannabis farm in Wigan town centre.

Vullnet Cjapi was arrested on suspicion of drug production after police raided rooms above shops in Wallgate on May 5 and found £1.5m worth of plants.

The 27-year-old pleaded not guilty when before Wigan magistrates, but on his first appearance at Liverpool Crown Court this week he changed his plea.

Cjapi was remanded in custody pending sentence next Thursday with co-accused Ledian Kola, 39, and Afrim Hoxha, 45, both of no fixed address, who had already admitted the same charge.
