A driver was arrested after his car overturned on a main road near Wigan.
Emergency services were called after the Ford Focus rolled onto its side and damaged some roadside barriers and a section of pavement.
The incident happened on Wigan Road in Westhoughton at around 1.45am on Sunday.
The car, which was travelling from Hindley towards Bolton, was written off.
The driver managed to escape unhurt from the incident but was taken into custody by Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
The road had to be shut while the vehicle was recovered.
