A MAN had to be cut out of his car after it overturned on a busy main road.
The man, thought to be in his 20s, was driving his Honda along Wigan Lower Road, in Standish Lower Ground, when he lost control and crashed into a parked Toyota and a brick wall, at 8.50pm on Saturday.
Firefighters had to cut the driver out and he was taken to Wigan Infirmary with neck injuries.
Both cars were severely damaged.
The police attended and the driver has been summonsed for traffic offences.
No arrests were made.
