A jealous man poked his girlfriend’s former husband in the face with his finger.

Anthony Goad then stuck a knife through the ex-husband’s letterbox telling him “I’m going to kill you, I’m going to stab you.”

I’m going to kill you, I’m going to stab you

Goad, 49, of Dinmore Avenue, Grange Park, pleaded guilty to assault.

He appeared at court from Preston Prison via video link having been sentenced on October 21 to 10 months’ jail for two breaches of a Sex Offences Prevention Order.

Brett Chappell, defending, said Goad had gone through his partner’s phone and found explicit texts to her from her ex husband.

Goad was sentenced to 28 days’ jail and ordered to pay a £150 court charge plus £80 victims’ surcharge by District Judge David Purcell sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
