A MUSIC festival held by a Wigan college raised £200 for a local cause.

St John Rigby held their annual ‘Rig Fest’ at the college earlier this year to showcase the musical talents of their students.

A number of bands and acts took to the stage to show off their talents in a special competition. The event also drew in many spectators with a vast array of talented people. Sponsors included Asda, Hannah Simons Florist, Wigan Roller Rink, AMF Bowling, Ramp Ryders and Jordans of Shevington. A total of £200 was presented to the Brick homeless project.
