Online tributes paid after girl, 19, dies in crash

ONLINE tributes have been paid to a teenager who died following a crash on a busy town centre road.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision on Central Park Way, close to the Tesco supermarket, at around 9.15pm last night (Sunday).

Three other people were taken to hospital, one man with serious injuries who had to be cut from a car by firefighters.

Fire crews from Wigan and the specialist accident rescue team from Leigh were called to the scene.

Tributes have been paid to the victim on the Wigan Today facebook page.
