WIGAN Warriors were not the well-oiled machine fans have come to expect when they crashed out of the Challenge Cup last weekend.
Despite a couple of dodgy reffing decisions, few fans would deny Leeds their Wembley place.
It hardly seems 12 months since we were celebrating a Wigan win at the national stadium. That’s all scrap book material now.
But the Warriors haven’t suddenly become a bad team because of one bad result. They remain the most consistent and dangerous team in Super League and still have an extremely successful season well within their grasp.
