LIKE most of you, we were quite gobsmacked to learn of forged keys being in circulation to cemeteries across the borough.
While is undoubtedly an intriguing story, it begs a few questions that remain unanswered.
Firstly, why would anybody want or need a key to a cemetery?
Secondly, why would you want one?
And thirdly and more importantly, where did you get it from?
We here at the Post would love to hear from anybody in possession of one, even if they wish to remain anonymous, as it is one of the most bizarre articles we have put in print.
However, on a more serious note, it is costing a lot of money for WLCT to change all the locks because of this, and at a time when public money is short.
Hopefully, this will be the end of the matter, but it seems strange that the issue has surfaced over the Halloween period.
Tales of Freemasons and forged keys reads like a Sherlock Holmes case and hopefully we will solve it.
