A SEVEN-year-old boy who sparked a large police search has now been found safe and well.
The seven-year-old, who was wearing a black coat, was at Boots on Robin Park retail park with his mum, but wandered off at around 4.30pm this afternoon (Tuesday).
Officers searched the area for an hour, but it was later discovered he had walked to his Kitt Green home.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed: “He has been found, as he had wandered home.
“That must be a huge relief to his mum, who was in a panic. We thank the public for raising awareness.”
