FIREFIGHTERS have had to attend a derelict Wigan pub for the second time in a week.
Crews from Hindley were called to the Engineers Arms on Belle Green Lane, Ince, at around 10.30pm last night (Sunday) after a fire broke out.
The blaze, which is believed to have been deliberately started, comes just days after a similar one last Tuesday.
Fortunately the flames were contained but firefighters have once again warned of the dangers of entering the “very dangerous” building.
A spokesman said: “If anyone got stuck upstairs they could be in real trouble.
“It’s a very dangerous building. We have managed to secure the premises.”
