A SHOP in Wigan held a fun day to raise funds for a tot with an aggressive form of cancer.
H&T Pawnbrokers, in The Galleries, invited customers to take part in a raffle and meet the company’s mascot Harvey in aid of the Braiden-Lee Prescott Appeal.
Staff also collected donations in buckets and offered free food to the public.
The branch raised £100 on the day, which will help fund treatment for three-year-old Braiden who has neuroblastoma.
Susan Wallace, manager, said: “We have held a few events for Braiden and have raised £250 altogether.
“We are pleased people have supported us and we thank everyone, especially as we know people don’t have much money.
“Even just a few coppers will help. We were really keen to support Braiden and believe this is a worthwhile cause to help.
“We love doing events for the good of the community.
“If any other charities want us to support them, please get in touch by calling us on 01942 237518.
