Stun gun attack

THE Owners of a Wigan business were attacked with a stun gun during a raid at their store.

Shortly before 3.20pm on Monday, two men got off a stolen Suzuki motorbike and entered Garswood Trophies in Ashton-in-Makerfield. The robbers demanded cash before attacking the two men, both in their 60s, with a stun gun. One of the victims was also head-butted.

Following a brief struggle the offenders escaped empty handed.

One offender was described as white, 5ft 10in tall and was wearing a black hooded jumper and crash helmet.

The second offender is described as white, wearing a grey hooded top and dark coloured helmet.

The victims were taken to hospital as a precaution but have since been discharged.

The motorbike, which was a white Suzuki GSXR with a missing back seat, was found abandoned on Greenway a short time later.
