THREE men have appeared in court, charged on suspicion of the murder of Haydock teenager Jordan Campbell.
Police were called to an address in Parr, St Helens, shortly before noon on January 1 following reports of an assault on the Haydock 17-year-old.
On arrival, they saw smoke and firefighters were called.
Jordan was found in the burning flat in Tickle Avenue and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Post-mortem tests revealed he died as a result of a single stab wound.
