Wigan Infirmary is urging people to think wisely about using services in the wake of a national cyber attack.
Hospital chiefs have said that the Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust remains open following the ongoing problems being experienced by organisations across the country.
A spokesperson for the trust said: "We are currently experiencing some technical issues. If you are trying to phone the Trust please be aware there be delays in answering your call.
"Please bear with us and we will answer as soon as we can. If your query can wait please phone again later in the week."
"It is business as usual. The hospital is open but we are asking the public to please consider using services wisely.
"We are continuing to experience some technical issues at the moment. We want to say a big thank you to all the staff who went above and beyond over the weekend to keep our patients safe with minimal disruption."
Internal emails are back up and running, but the trust staff cannot receive correspondence from external digital sources.
A question marks still hangs over whether operations have been affected by the attack and what impact the "technical difficulties" may have on regular services.
