Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Aspull have been bailed.
The men, aged 29 and 32, were taken into custody and questioned by police after a man was stabbed in the chest on Crawford Street at around 9.30pm on Friday April 29.
The two suspects have now been released on police bail until June 27 while further enquiries are made.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are still attempting to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and have called for witnesses to come forward.
