Gary Stuart Rigby (33): Mersey Road, Platt Bridge - Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order, stole five bottles of Smirnoff Vodka worth £87 from Asda Stores, stole a thermos flask and a can of beer, to the value of £21, belonging to Darren Wood, other theft offences, attempted to steal items from a Vauxhall Vectra: Jailed for 23 weeks, suspended for two years, £80 victim surcharge, £180 criminal courts charge.

Mark Hughes (43): Church Avenue, Bickershaw - Stole meat products and detergent, to the value of £36, belonging to Asda, other theft offences: Jailed for four months, suspended for 12 months, £46 compensation.

Christopher James Jones (30): Nicol Road, Ashton - Found in possession of ecstasy: £300 fine, £30 victim surcharge, £85 Crown Prosecution Service costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Gary Ashcroft (40): Heath Street, Golborne – Assaulted Louise Green by beating her and harassment of Hillary Shiri: Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months, £200 compensation, £100 to the Crown Prosecution Service, £180 criminal courts charge.

John Ryan Daltrey (22): Cravenwood Rise, Horwich – Drove a motor vehicle, Ford Transit Van, on Poplar Street, whilst carrying in the front of a vehicle a child under 14 years of age who was not wearing a seat belt: Discharged conditionally for 6 months, £15 victim surcharge, £150 criminal courts charge.

Jane Louise Doran (40): Highwoods Close, Ashton – Drove on Bryn Road without due care and attention, being the driver of a vehicle on Bryn Road an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another person, namely Jamie Foster, failed to report the accident at a police station or to a constable as soon as was reasonably practicable: Committed to prison for 8 weeks suspended for 12 months, unpaid work for 150 hours, £80 victim surcharge, driving record endorsed with 10 points, £650 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Shaun Anthony Atkins (30): Lancaster Road, Marsh Green – Stole four bottles of vodka worth £46 belonging to B&M Bargains and stole liquid detergent and drink worth £28 belonging to Tesco plc: Committed to prison for 16 weeks suspended for 12 months, £23 compensation, £80 victim surcharge, £150 criminal courts charge.

Craig Andrew Burrows (26): Birch Grove, Ashton – Received stolen goods, assaulted Robert Taylor by beating. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months, compensation of £50, £400 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Kevin Webster (47): Crookhurst Avenue, Billinge – Failed to provide a urine test, drove a Nissan car on Carr Mill Road, without due care and attention. Disqualified for holding or obtaining a driving licence for 28 months, fined £130, £20 victim surcharge, £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, criminal courts charge of £150, fined £150.
