Veronica Francis Wilson (73): Sherbourne Place, Ince - pleaded guilty to failing to notify Wigan Council of circumstances affecting her Council Tax Benefit entitlement. Community order made with a 24-week curfew being imposed. Ordered to pay surcharge of £85 and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Andrew Semmens (29): Andover Crescent, Wigan - pleaded guilty to the damage of a laptop and to assault by beating. Sentenced to a community order with 40 hours of unpaid work. Ordered to pay total compensation of £350, a surcharge of £85 to fund victim services, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Luke Alexander Buckley (31): Church Avenue, Bickershaw - pleaded guilty to drink driving on Nel Pan Lane and driving without a license or insurance. Disqualified from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay a fine of £120, a surcharge of £30 to fund victim services, and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Jonathan Thomas Raymond Chappell (36): Woodhouse Lane, Wigan - pleaded guilty to the theft of makeup to the value of £80 from Wilkinsons. Jailed for 10 weeks and ordered to pay a surcharge of £115 to fund victim services.

Kevin Furlong (49): Woodhouse Lane, Wigan - pleaded guilty to the theft of air fresheners up to the value of £110. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, ordered to pay a surcharge of £20 to fund victim services and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Jason Parr (45): Brownlow Avenue, Ince - indicated guilty plea to the making of indecent photographs of a child. Case committed to Bolton Crown Court for sentencing on June 14.

John Robert Fishwick (34): Poplar Avenue, Worsley Hall - pleaded guilty to driving on Crow Orchard Road whilst under the influence of cocaine and resisting arrest from a police officer in the execution of his duty. Community order with a curfew for eight weeks. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Ordered to pay surcharge of £85 to fund victim services and costs of £85 to the Prosecution Service.

Keith Pepperd (36): Sandalwood Drive, Wigan - pleaded guilty at Wigan to the theft of branded clothing to the value of £3,700 belonging to Sports Direct. Case has been committed to Bolton Crown Court for sentencing on June 14.

Andrew David Howarth (35) and Clare Myra Forbes (36): MIllers Lane, Platt Bridge - pleaded guilty to the theft of clothing to the value of £263 belonging to Primark. Community order made where defendants must comply with a drug rehabilitation requirement. Ordered to pay a £20 fine, surcharge of £85 to fund victim services, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

John Mackinnon (57): York Close, Cheadle - pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at Wigan Wallgate railway station. Discharged conditionally for two years and ordered to pay a surcharge of £20 to fund victim services.

Stuart James Austin (35): Moore Street, Whelley - pleaded guilty to being the registered keeper of a vehicle and failing to deliver to the Secretary of State that part of the registration document containing the required particulars relating to the notification of transfer of the vehicle to a person who was not a vehicle trader. Ordered to pay a fine of £40, surcharge of £15 to fund victim services and costs of £60 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Alistair Lord (41): Hampden Place, Marsh Green - pleaded guilty to failing to notify Wigan Council of circumstances which he knew would affect entitlement to Housing Benefit. Community order made with 80 hours of unpaid work being imposed. Ordered to pay surcharge of £85 to fund victim services and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
