Wigan mum wins photo fail competition

Vicki Loftus, from Orrell, has been crowned the winner after submitting a family snap taken at the Raptor Experience at Universal Studios, Florida, when a T-Rex terrified the group by lurching forward and growling.

Vicki, a 44-year-old interior designer, beat off competition from hundreds of other photo fails, including a ‘headless’ penguin, a yawning horse and a baby releasing bubbles.

Vicki, who wins a Panasonic Lumix camera, said: “I was freaking out as it was snorting at me and trying to nibble my hair!

“Sometimes photo fails really do turn out to be the best pictures!”
