A WOMAN suffered minor injuries in a three-car shunt yesterday morning (Monday).
Officers from Greater Manchester Police were called to the scene on Wigan Lane, in Standish, to a collision between a silver Honda Prelude, a Vauxhall Corsa and a Mini Cooper, at about 11.50am on Monday.
The woman, who was believed to be the driver of the Honda, suffered facial injuries which were not thought to be serious.
The front end of the Honda was severely damaged in the incident, which happened on the northbound side of the road near the Boars Head roundabout.
The incident caused some disruption to traffic travelling between Wigan town centre and Standish, but the road did not need closing.
