Youngsters doing their bit to clean up Wigan

WIGAN primary school pupils were out in force doing their bit for the environment this week.

As part of the Asda Big Litter Pick, pupils from St James Primary School, Worsley Mesnes, spent the morning cleaning up their surroundings.

Simon O’Hara, Store Manager at Asda Wigan, said: “We’re all really keen to get out into the local community and get our hands dirty.

“It will be so rewarding to see the end result and we’re hoping members of the local community will want to come and join us in the future.”
